No Snore Center - Chicago, IL

No Snore Center is an office dedicated to the diagnosis and  treatment of sleep disorder breathing. We have developed a close working relationship between dentist and physicians to help screen, diagnose, and treat patients with these disorders.  All of our staff take numerous hours of continued education and pursue the highest accreditations in sleep disorder breathing.

The goal of our knowledgeable and friendly staff is to bring awareness and educate all patients, so they can understand how important it is to maintain a clear airway while sleeping and be well informed when reviewing treatment options. We offer treatments for all degrees of sleep disorder breathing, from mild snoring to severe obstructive sleep apnea.

Snoring affects 45% of the adult population and most people consider it only a nuisance and don’t understand the health risks. Research studies have shown that snoring is not benign and many times is a symptom of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Once a person snores they are suffering from reduced airflow and resistance to the passage of air, which causes the soft palate and uvula to vibrate and make noise. People that snore may already have increased health risks and when left untreated will worsen with age and many times progress into apnea.

Unfortunately, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is emerging as a significant public health issue and has become a primary cause of morbidity and mortality in the United States. The National Sleep Foundation reports that as many as 18 million people suffer from OSA and as many as 90% of these individuals have never been diagnosed.

Therefore, we have made it our mission to bring awareness to the health risks associated with sleep disorder breathing and to provide an accurate and affordable screening process. We want anyone that feels they may have a sleep disorder breathing problem to feel comfortable in making the first steps towards being evaluated. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care by using a team approach of both dentist and physicians and the primary concern will always be your overall general health.

If you have never been to No Snore Center we recommend that you visit our Patient Education section and listen to the introductory video. This will explain both snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea and give you a better understanding of sleep disorder breathing. In this section we also have some questionnaires that will help you evaluate your own risk for having Apnea. Snoring is not an uncommon sleep disorder and at No Snore we want patients to feel comfortable learning about the health risks and making the first moves towards treating it.
